SECRET REVEALED: Why is Akshay Kumar's upcoming venture titled Baby

Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Baby. However, a lot of curiosity is generated among the people regarding its unique title. Director Neeraj Pandey has recently cleared the air, announcing that the film has nothing to do with an actual baby.

He said, “The title of my film does not have a huge secret. It is the nickname for the black operation that Akshay and his team are a part of. As their unit in the film is on a trail run for five years, it is in its infancy, and thus it is called as “Baby”. Nothing more.”

The filmmaker further added, “The audience will only want to watch my film if they have an idea what it is about. I don’t want them to come see my movie with hopes of seeing an actual cute toddler in it.”

Besides Akshay Kumar, the film stars Taapseee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon, Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles. The thriller is all set to hit the screens on January 23.
