There is no denying that the performances of Dhoom franchise’s villains have always been larger than life. Be it John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan or Aamir Khan, the credits for the success of the series are usually poured more upon the antagonists. And now we hear that Shah Rukh Khan is likely to be the next bad boy and play a negative role in the fourth iteration of the franchise, ‘Dhoom Reloaded’.

As per a report published in a leading daily, a source claims that the much revered actor has been roped in for the upcoming flick. “Shah Rukh has been approached by Chopra for D4”, the source revealed, adding, “Talks about dates and remuneration are on. Salman was approached before SRK, but he’s very clear right now about not playing a negative character”.

The source went on to add, “Shah Rukh has done it in quite a few films before, so he has no reservations. Also, it’s not a baddie in the true sense of the word. Dhoom baddies are cool and stylish”. The Dilwale actor has essayed negative roles in films such as 'Baazigar', 'Darr', 'Don' and others.

Earlier, it has already been reported that Ranveer Singh will be playing the male lead in the upcoming action-packed flick. “In Dhoom Reloaded, while Ranveer will now be ACP Jai Dixit, Uday Chopra, who played Ali, will sit out of this project”, the source asserted.

Let’s wait to see if the King of Romance wins as many hearts as other villains of the hit franchise have. On a related note, Shah Rukh is occupied with his upcoming action thriller ‘Raees’, which is scheduled for release on January 26 next year.
