Shah Rukh Khan’s Techno Bus Built in 30,000 Hours

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest acquisition is a techno bus, designed by DC Design, which is the leading automobile design studio. Reportedly, it took about 30,000 hours to customize the bus for SRK. Shah Rukh is indeed the King of Bollywood.

The bus, which is built on a Volvo platform, has a futuristic asymmetrical interior lounge section, driver cabin, master bed room, LED lit glass floor, high-end audio and video equipment, fully equipped restroom and integrated makeup section amongst other specifications. Reportedly, the Happy New Star was involved in every step of the built. One thing that Shah Rukh wanted the designers to pay extra attention to was the audio-video system. “For someone who loves his techno gadgets SRK wanted the best Audio/Video system available. We have equipped the bus with a huge 65” state of the art 4K screen with a home theatre system”, said the designers.

As per DC Designs, “The bus has a driver cabin, Master bedroom, fully equipped washroom, make-up section integrated in lounge with a floating divider, 4 screens and a recliner in the make-up section”. Dilip Chhabria, who designed the bus, said in a statement, “It was a challenge for us to marry the functionality with the aesthetics of the whole bus as its not usually the case that- what looks good would be functional and what is functional would look good. But we made sure that was not the case and the outcome was an exclusive product with fantastic aesthetics as well as super functionality”.
