Shahrukh reveals his directorial aspirations

The love for the television industry never lets SRK go out of sight. The actor at the 20^th anniversary celebrations of Zee TV revealed how connected he feels with the small screen industry. He even went on to share his directorial plans and hoped he could tell stories on TV.

“As a filmmaker and producer who would one day like to direct films, I think television is a great medium and an amazing platform. As someone who started on TV with ‘Fauji’, TV remains my first love. I think it would be the nicest step up for me to come back and tell stories on TV. That is the future”, he said. Shahrukh, who’s currently hosting a game on Zee Network’s new channel ‘&TV,’ has constantly expressed his love for TV by getting involved in some or the other show every now and then. The actor is currently busy wrapping up ‘Fan’ and will later begin working on his other commitments. While he loudly proved his expertise in being an actor, host and producer, let’s see if direction turns out to be his cup of tea.
