Shilpa Shinde Lashes Out At CINTAA; Files Police Complaint

After going through the reports of Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) planning to ban Shilpa Shinde from TV, the Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress lashed out at the association. Shilpa had stated that once she receives the notice, she will give a befitting reply and, apparently, the actress has taken the move. After being served the non-cooperation directive by CINTAA, which does not permit any broadcaster or producer to work with her, the 38-year-old actress has filed a police complaint against the association.

Popular for playing the role of ‘Angoori Bhabhi’, the actress, who was miffed by the move, had said in a statement, “I am not scared of anything. Sher ko billi bana ke dara rahe hai (They do not know how strong I am). I have a query here. Why is a producer never banned when there is any dispute?”.

“It is utter nonsense. CINTAA is an artist association; how can they work according to the producer. If an artist is having problems, it is their responsibility to solve the issues. But in this case, they are forcing me to get back to the show”, she had said and added, “I don’t want to return to small screen. They wouldn't need to ban me, as I am only banning them”.

Quoting an incident, Shilpa revealed, “I want to share one incident wherein after I had quit Bhabhiji, Vipul D Shah called me and offered me a role for his show Comedy Nights Live. On the other hand I got an offer from Kapil Sharma’s show. Later, Vipul told me to choose his show over Kapil’s show. Having said this, I was not very keen on taking Vipul’s show; so he ended up joining Binaifer Kohli (producer of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai) and started supporting her. This industry is unbelievable”.

She also said, “I am going the legal way. Let them send me a notice; I will show them what I can do. The law will decide the further actions. I am going to send a legal notice to CINTAA as well. How dare they can take this action, they have to answer all this in court”. The TV star was alleged of quitting the show midway with no prior information.
