Shilpa Shinde May Be Banned From TV

TV actress Shilpa Shinde, popularly known as Angoori of hit comedy show ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’, has been "making the headlines" for quite some time now. The actress walked out of the show after a rift with the makers and decided not to join the show even after being approached by them several times. Reports suggest that she may not be able to work on television again.

According to reports, Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) has taken a strict action against her for not reporting to the shoot of the show. The association has taken a decision of issuing a non-cooperation directive against the actress. If the non-cooperation directive is issued against her, then no broadcaster or producer will be permitted to work with Shilpa.

Amit Behl, Chairperson Dispute Committee of CINTAA, said that the actress is setting a wrong example by not reporting for the shoot. He said, "We tried to reason with the actress on several occasions. Finally, we have decided to act on the issue after contemplating over it for a month. She is setting a wrong precedent and we have no choice but to support the producer". Also, the producer of the show Binaifer Kohli has sent a legal notice to the actress for breaching the contract.
