Shoojit to collaborate with Ayushmann for Agra Ka Daabra

Shoojit to collaborate with Ayushmann for Agra Ka Daabra

After the successful endeavour with Vicky Donor, actor Ayushmann Khurrana and filmmaker Shoojit Sircar are joining hands again for Agra Ka Daabra. The film which was earlier titled Hamara Bajaj was kept on hold after automobile manufacturer Bajaj threatened legal action against the film’s developers for using their name in the title. Apparently, Shoojit got busy with Peeku but if latest reports are to be believed, the Ayushmann-Taapsee Pannu starrer is back on track.

Talking about the name of the film, the actor says, "Daabra is the last name of my character who was earlier called Sanjay Bajaj. The film is called Agra Ka Daabra because it is almost entirely set in Agra although some portions will be shot in Mumbai as well." The film which is supposed to go on floors in December revolves around a tourist guide from Agra with Bollywood dreams. The film's director Amit Roy adds, "It's a catchy title for a film set in Agra. My Running Shaadi.com will release only next year and in the meanwhile, I'm fine-tuning the script."
