Shraddha, Arjun Starrer ‘Half Girlfriend’ To Release On May 19, 2017

It is a fashion in Bollywood to make movies on novels. Pursuing this trend, Bollywood is all set to treat the audience with yet another film based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel, ‘Half Girlfriend’. His other novels have also been cinematized, last one being ‘2 States’.

The movie is collectively produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Mohit Suri and Chetan Bhagat under Balaji Motion Pictures banner. Latest updates suggest that filmmaker Mohit Suri’s upcoming movie ‘Half Girlfriend’, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, will release on May 19 next year. The news is further confirmed by the lead lady of the film.

“Half Girlfriend is going to release on May 19, 2017… Mohit Suri, Chetan Bhagat, Arjun Kapoor,” Shraddha Kapoor tweeted. It is for the second time that Arjun Kapoor will be featured in a story written Chetan Bhagat. He was last cast in ‘2 States’ as the lead opposite Alia Bhatt.

Desimartini is hopeful that ‘Half Girlfriend’ gains huge recognition and support from the audience.
