Shraddha Kapoor Might Romance Arjun Kapoor in Half Girlfriend

Mohit Suri’s upcoming Half Girlfriend, which is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel of same name, has been making headlines from quite some time as many actors have backed out of the project. Recently, it was announced that Shraddha Kapoor has been roped in as the female lead and now the rumour mills are churning that Arjun Kapoor has been approached for the male lead role. Several reports suggest that the deal is almost final and an official announcement will be made soon.

First it was Aditya Roy Kapur whose name has been flashing in several media reports but all reports were rubbished after the makers of the flick announced that Sushant Singh Rajput will essay the role of Madhav. Later, the shooting of the flick was delayed. Hence, Sushant also opted out of the project.

To be paired opposite Sushant, Kriti Sanon was the original choice for female lead character. The Dilwale actress also walked out of the project citing date reasons. Apparently, Sushant and Kriti are committed to Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming directorial.
