Shraddha Kapoor Will Start Shooting For Saina Nehwal Biopic From February 2018

It is a known fact that Shraddha Kapoor will play badminton player Saina Nehwal in her biopic to be directed by Amol Gupte. Shraddha Kapoor is fighting tooth and nail to get the technique of playing badminton right. However, now reports have emerged that the makers of the flick are not happy with Shraddha as she is finding it hard to learn the game.

In an interview with a leading daily, Priya Gupta, co-producer of the biopic said, "(Shraddha) is currently going through an intensive regimen with Jitesh Padukone (former badminton player) and is practically transforming herself into Nehwal. She is committed. Playing (the role) will not be easy, so I want Shraddha to be ready before we start rolling."

Earlier, rumours were doing rounds that the makers have found the Haseena Parker actress unfit for the role. When asked from Priya, she denied the news. She said, "There is absolutely no truth in the reports. We will start shooting at the end of February. Also, Shraddha was busy shooting for Saaho ." The director also confirmed that the shooting will either happen by the end of February or in the beginning of March.

Shraddha has completed around 35-40 sessions of Badminton. She also took little lessons from Saina. The first part of the movie will be without badminton, while the second part will involve Badminton.
