Shruti and Imran team up for Tamil remake

Shruti Haasan and Imran Khan will be seen teaming up for the remake of a Tamil comedy film. Aanand L. Rai who will be making his production debut with this project has decided to cast Shruti and Imran. Rai will be remaking the Tamil rom-com Kalyana Samayal Saadham.

This will be the second time the duo will be working together. The pair has also collaborated for Luck, which was written and directed by Soham Shah. The original film, which was released on December 6 2013, was a commercial success and also received great reviews from the audience and critics alike.

The film was produced by Everest Entertainment. Kalyana Samayal Saadham was written and directed by RS Prasanna. The movie features Prasanna and Lekha Washington in the lead roles. The movie focussed on a couple who were engaged to get married, but the preparations for their wedding don’t go as planned leading to hilarious consequences.
