Sid, Fawad to work together in a Karan Johar film

Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is all set to work with Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan in Karan Johar’s next. According to the latest reports, the handsome actors have been roped in to play brothers in the upcoming family drama. Interestingly, one of these men will be portraying the role of a gay brother.

Directed by Shakun Batra, the yet-untitled film would be produced under Dharma Productions. Karan apparently took to Twitter to announce his forthcoming venture. “Rarely does a filmmaker write a super script in 2 months....@shakunbatra's new family film just got greenlit and cast! Details coming up....,” he wrote.

Shakun Batra has previously directed Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Imran Khan. The film which hit the screens on February 10, 2012, proved a moderate commercial success.
