Sidharth Malhotra Misses Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra played siblings in film-maker Karan Johar’s recent production, Brothers. The actors have always maintained that they share a great bond. Sidharth, apparently, enjoyed spending time with Akshay so much that he now wants the senior actor to accompany him on the promotional tours for his next. Reminiscing about the fun he had while working with Akshay, Sidharth says, “It’s exciting when you have fun on the sets, and also manage to finish work in time. Akshay wants to make everything fun. He is a great example of someone who balances work and enjoyment.”

The young actor reveals that they “didn’t have to make any efforts to become friends”. “We just bonded. Also, I think our energies match well. I am trying to figure out how to get him to promote my next,” says Sidharth, jokingly.

He also admires the senior actor for the way he balances his personal and professional lives. “He gives time to his family, and his son and daughter, and goes on vacations with them too. He is also very dedicated to his work, and gives it a lot of time. I really enjoyed shooting with him on our last film,” says the young actor.
