Sidharth Malhotra Will Play A Secret Agent In His Next Film

Following the below average performance of ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, Sidharth has quickly moved on to his next project where he will be playing the role of a secret agent. Being one of the heavily work oriented actors in the industry, Sidharth is training under French action director Cyril Rafaelli to prepare for the role. Rafaelli has previously worked with Akshay Kumar in ‘Baby’.

Sidharth recently spoke about his training and said, “I am training with a French action director Cyril Rafaelli. I am learning hand combat and several other forms of action”. He also shared that in ‘Brothers’, an American team of action supervisors helped Akshay and him for the action scenes. Sidharth revealed that they have not decided a title for the film as of yet but have completed 40 percent of the shooting.

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are directing the action flick which has Jacqueline Fernandez paired opposite Sidharth. This is the first time the director duo and the actor are venturing into the action genre. The Kapoor and Sons actor also shared that the action in the film will be “at least one notch higher” than the usual action films.
