Sonakshi to explore her action side

Riding super high on the reception Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty has received, actress Sonakshi Sinha has bagged another outing with Director A.R. Murugadoss, this time to explore her action sides. Confirmed by Sonakshi herself she tweeted “Its official! My next is a woman oriented Action film directed by the genius behind Ghajini & Holiday @ARMurugadoss! We start in november :)”

After three back to back Tamil hits, Fox Star and A.R. Murugadoss signed a three Hindi film deal recently, to be kicked off by the Sonakshi starrer. This is going to be the first time ever Sonakshi would be seen in an action role. Sonakshi who had long been plunged into clichéd roles desperately wanted a makeover and nothing better could have happened for her. She also affirmed that she isn’t going to allot any of her dates to some other projects until she finishes this one. Meanwhile with the trend, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Jazbaa and Rani Mukerji Chopra in Mardaani too are testing their action aspects as both gear up for their respective roles.

Sonakshi had a pretty ordinary last year with Bullet Raja bombing at the box office while R...Rajkumar managing just enough to save its cost. However her performance in Lootera was amongst the best last year but the film was a failure commercially. She’s also starring in Prabhu Deva’s Action Jackson opposite Ajay Devgn which is scheduled to release later this year. Let’s see, how the Success of Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty wins her more rewards.
