Sonali Bendre’s appearance in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara is priceless

It has been a long time when Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre made an appearance on the big screen. After her last guest appearance in Kal Ho Naa Ho, she will be next seen in Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara.

As told by Sonali, the only reason why she decided to make a comeback to the big screen is that she enjoys a very long-time friendship with the director and couldn’t refuse his approach for the role in the underworld drama. Sonali told IANS, "The film is directed by Milan Lutharia and I have known him since a long time. He used to assist (Mahesh) Bhatt sahab and my first ever song 'Sambhala hai maine...' was shot by Milan. So the equation and the relationship go very far back.”

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara has also Shobha Kapoor in its team as its producer and incidentally she is also a good friend of Sonali’s mother-in-law. The Sarfarosh actress said, "Shobha aunty has been friends with my mother-in-law for the past 40 years. So, when she calls her and asks for me to do something, I can't say no to her. So it's just that.” Sonali, married to Goldie Behl and a mother to a son, further added, "I have not charged them for anything. So it's not a professional kind of a thing for me, it's just a guest appearance that I am doing for the people that are involved in it. It's a very interesting literal role.” Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara also stars Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles.
