Sonam Kapoor: Salman Is Such A Superstar

The upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will bring back Salman Khan as Prem and will also star Sonam Kapoor who plays Maithili. The actress recently revealed that she was initially intimidated by Salman in an interview with Mumbai Mirror. Sonam is busy with three upcoming productions and stated that she is game for the Indian adaptation of Modern Family.

“Salman is such a superstar and incredibly charismatic. But Soorajji and he went out of their way to make me comfortable”, she stated. The actress contracted swine flu while shooting in Gujarat and had to miss four-five days because of it. The duo was previously seen together in the 2007 film Saawariya.

Talking about Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sonam added, “I've been a huge fan of Soorajji's films, they are so entertaining and his leading ladies have so much to do. My character, Maithili, knows exactly what she wants which is really cool. Plus, I get to play a princess”.
