Veere Di Wedding Hits Financial Trouble

Recently, we have heard that actress Sonam Kapoor had been working with her sister Rhea to reduce the budget overflow of her upcoming film, ‘Veere Di Wedding’. Due to this scenario, earlier it was heard that Sonam and Kareena Kapoor had compromised with their salary for making it a safe project. Now the latest news reveals that everyone’s salary has been cut down excluding  Sonam and Kareena’s pay.

Earlier, Kareena decided to cut down her salary if Sonam compromised with hers. The film Veere Di Wedding is being directed by Shashanka Ghosh, which has gone on floors in New Delhi. The film is based on romance targeted mainly for the female audience. The film also went through some controversies over another Punjabi film being launched on the same theme, which stars Jimmy Shergill.

A case was also filed against the Punjabi film but later the High Court gave a clean sheet to Jimmy Shergill's film. However, now the Veere Di Wedding’s team is busy with the film’s shooting. Further, the film is about four friends who go on a journey from Delhi to Europe, which is bankrolled by Rhea Kapoor.
