SRK gets 13 million followers, Twitter starts trending

King Khan is on his way to lead the race in gaining maximum Twitter followers and has garnered yet another milestone in his social media voyage. The actor reached the 13 million followers mark and got his fans spark off a new Twitter trend.

#13MillionShahrukh trend was up on the platform since the actor attained the mark. While Shahrukh himself hasn’t tweeted about as yet, his fans though are pretty excited. With respect to the stars on twitter in our country, Shahrukh is still behind the legend Amitabh Bachchan who has 14.7 million twitter followers.

Mapping Aamir and Salman’s followers on the page, Aamir has 12.5 million followers while Salman follows him up with 11.9 million. Hrithik and Akshay are yet to enter the 10 million club. As for the actresses, only Deepika Padukone is ahead of the 10 million mark. While the box office combinations keep fluctuating with some or the star going ahead of each other, the Twitter race seems to have followed a pattern.
