SRK to turn teenager in Maneesh Sharma’s ‘Fan’

While movie-buffs are gearing up for Shah Rukh Khan’s next release ‘Fan’, buzz has it that apart from playing the role of a superstar, the B-town Badshah might also be seen as a teenager in the Maneesh Sharma directed film. Though, we already knew that Shah Rukh is working hard on his ambitious movie by Yash Raj Films, his announcement of portraying dual roles has aroused more curiosity among his fans and followers.

Talking to reporters about this role at the sets of a popular television show, King Khan confirmed, "The film (Fan) is very different. I will be playing a 17-year-old and I'll take some help to do it. Perhaps with prosthetics, make-up or VFX". Shah Rukh will reportedly be portraying the role of a teenager named 'Rahul' in the film and has apparently lost a lot of weight to play this character.

The role of Shah Rukh’s leading lady in the film has been bagged by a 35-year-old model Waluscha De Sousa. ‘'Yes, Waluscha is in the film. More than age-appropriate heroines, it’s normally character-appropriate casting. What you actually have to understand is mostly for films that are not driven by commercial aspect, they are character-appropriate casting," justifies Shah Rukh.
