SRK’s Raees’ Clash with Salman’s Sultan Averted?

Earlier it was announced that both the films, Raees and Sultan, will release on the same date i.e. Eid 2016 and now reportedly Salman Khan is in talks with the makers of Sultan to postpone the release of his upcoming film. It is said that the Bajrangi Bhaijaan wants Sultan to release on Diwali. Does Salman Khan fear the clash with SRK?

When in 2006, Salman’s Jaan-e-Mann and Shah Rukh’s Don released on the same date, the former’s film didn’t do well at the box office. It seems that the Dabangg star is trying every hook and crook to make sure that his film becomes a blockbuster. A source told Mid-Day, “Shah Rukh and Salman have become good friends again and they believe that there's no competition between them. They respect each other's work and have worked out a solution to avoid a clash. Shah Rukh has retained Eid 2016 for 'Raees' while Salman will convince the makers of 'Sultan' to shift the release to Diwali 2016”.

On the other hand, a source close the production of Sultan said, “The both have a massive fan following and do not want the audience to be divided. So, Salman has now decided to come on Diwali”. However, nothing is confirmed as of now.
