Deepika Padukone: From Shanti To Mastani!

It’s been 9 years since Deepika Padukone became a part of Bollywood, and her sense of style has evolved in the most beautiful possible way.

We remember her as the smoky eyed girl in Himesh Reshammiya’s song Naam Hai Tera , but she got a complete role reversal in her debut with SRK, in Om Shanti Om. Deepika’s style used to be very movie specific until she signed Bachna Ae Haseeno when she completely went out on gowns, and floral dresses. We do think that when you’re in love, you do look rejuvenated all the time, which Deepika did, because she was dating Ranbir Kapoor.

Her major transformation happened with her look as Veronica in Cocktail with streaks and smoky eyes. She started nailing the red carpet with embellished gowns and sarees with audacious experiments on her hair! From her messy buns to pig tails, fish braids and middle parting, Deepika is the new style diva! The typical sleek hair look with red lipstick, we all wished to dress like her some or the other time. 

She’s brought back georgette and chiffon sarees into fashion with floral and she’s very experimental with colours. Deepika always stays minimal in accessorizing herself and nude makeup is her secret.
