Sujoy Ghosh brings Saif and Kangana together

After losing out an opportunity with Reema Kagti’s Mr. Chaalu not working out, Saif Ali Khan will be paired opposite Kangana Ranaut in Sujoy Ghosh’s next. The project is coming up as the screen adaptation of Keigo Higashino’s novel The Devotion of Suspect X.

While Sujoy has been keeping the audience in waiting post Kahaani, it will be interesting to see how this flare turns out. The novel is an intriguing story of a victim mother being protected by a sharp mathematician in clash with a clever investigating officer. While Saif and Kangana seem confirmed for the roles, there are talks of Vidyut Jamwal also coming in for a crucial character. The project is expected to go on floors later this year and be ready for release in 2016. The film will be extensively shot in Kolkata.
