After its bumper opening and equally impressive follow-up on the second day, Sultan showed no signs of slowing down on Friday and Saturday. Because, why would it?

The wrestling film, starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma, after earning 73.7 crore in its first two days, entered the prestigious 100 crore club by minting nearly 31.66 crore on Friday and 37.10 crore on Saturday. The film, which earned 105.34 crores in only three days, is only the third film to achieve this remarkable feat. Only Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year and Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 have earned 100 crore in first three days of theatrical run.

Also, the tally of 105.34 crore is star Salman Khan’s biggest three-day opening till date. Previously, his films Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo have earned 102.60 and 101.47 crore respectively.
