    Bollywood Badshah Shah RukhKhan has added one more feather on his hat as he has recently been honoured with Britain’s Global Diversity Award 2014 for his tremendous achievements in the field of cinema. "This is a special day for me and I am very humbled to receive the award instituted by Rainbow Foundation," says Shah Rukh and describes the award as a "big honour."

    The actor who has been a part of the entertainment industry for the last 33 years recalls, "My first visit to England was when I was 27 in connection with the first film Baazigar. I have got lot more than I deserved." Before receiving the honour, Shah Rukh expressed his happiness though micro-blogging website. An excited King Khan tweeted, “Now at the Houses of Parliament to receive the Global Diversity Award….humbled & grateful. Thank you. Tnx Mr Speaker Rt Hon John Bercow & my friend Mr Keith Vaz for a wonderful ceremony for the Global Diversity Award.”

    He said that the honour would inspire him to work for the neglected community. "I will try to do in a small away, whatever I can," he told at the ceremony held in London. Rt Hon Keith Vaz, Founder of the Rainbow Foundation said, "Shah Rukh Khan is regarded as one of the most famous actors on planet earth." "He has already featured in several films and won 14 Filmfare awards out of 30 he was nominated including eight best actor awards. He is also active in the fields of charity, particularly helping women who have suffered acid attacks," Bercow added.

    The Bollywood superstar has received several international honours and awards over the years, including Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur (France's highest civilian award), Wissame Al Kafaa Al Fikria (Morocco’s highest honour), Malaysian title of 'Datuk' (akin to the British knighthood).
