Sushant Singh Rajput collaborates with Shekhar Kapur for Paani

After giving a mind-blowing performance in recent flick Shuddh Desi Romance, the two film old actor Sushant Singh Rajput is getting high on demand with the directors. According to the recent updates, Shekhar Kapur has roped in the 27-year-old for his directorial venture Paani. Sushant is said to play a male lead in the flick.

It is also heard that Shekhar and producer Aditya Chopra were very much impressed by his realistic performance in Shuddh Desi Romance and straight away signed him for their next. Shekhar commented on the same, “Sushant is one of the most inspiring young actors to emerge out of India. It`s going to be an exciting director-actor collaboration with him on `Paani`.

Paani is a film on water wars in which both Indian and western actors will be seen. The film to be made under Yash Raj Films banner will have a west female actress opposite Sushant. The film is to go on floors by mid 2014. Sushant debuted in the film industry with Kai Po Che! and seems to have an unstoppable journey.
