    Sushant Singh Rajput Launches Education Programme To Help Young Students

    Bollywood has many actors who have not received higher education, but have made it big in the industry. Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor , Aamir Khan , Deepika Padukone , Kangana Ranaut are some of the actors who have not completed their graduation. Though the actors are not very educated, but they still put emphasis on first completing education before deciding career.



    And Sushant Singh Rajput is one among them. The actor has launched a programme named Sushant4Education in an attempt to help young students. Sushant left his engineering degree to pursue to acting dreams.



    With the help of this programme, the Raabta actor wants to motivate young minds to get education as he believes that education is necessary towards prosperity of the nation. The programme has multiple initiatives and one among them is providing counsellors to schools who will help young students to make right career choices after looking at their strengths and aptitude. Sources close to the actor have said that Sushant will take off some time from his busy schedule and will personally meet school principals and select trained counsellors for this very purpose. The selected counsellors will be visiting schools weekly. The sessions have already been started in two schools St Elias High School and SS Sahney High School.



    The source added, “When Sushant announced this initiative on his social media platforms, over a hundred applications from counsellors came in. Sushant has already shortlisted two counsellors who have started visiting schools from this month. He will be meeting the school principals and counselors to select candidates himself for this programme. Next on the agenda is also installing projectors in certain schools, to make subjects more interactive, by bringing in the visual medium and make learning fun. Majority of the kids from these schools are first generation learners. The idea was to ensure that students are well informed about different kinds of career avenues that lie before them so that they can make the right choices according to their aptitude."



    On the work front, the 31-year-old will next be seen in Chanda Mama Door Ke and Kedarnath
