Guess Which Bollywood Actress Is All Set To Replace Vidya Balan In Kamala Das Biopic?

Many were having great expectations from Vidya Balan starrer flick Aami, where she plays acclaimed poet Kamala Das. Now, the fans are left with disappointment after the Kahaani actress walked out of the project even after some serious convincing from the filmmakers. The reason is still not clear, but it was alleged that Vidya couldn’t connect with the character.  

“The team tried our utmost to convince her. We promised we would be there to help her. But she insisted she couldn’t understand the character. But isn’t that what Kamala Das is about? She’s an enigma. We are sure even Kamala didn’t understand herself”, explained an insider.

Another source added, “Vidya likes to spend some time with the director and writers as part of her prep before starting a film. It wasn’t happening with this one. Also, she wasn’t happy with the final script”. Now, the interesting news is that critically acclaimed actress Tabu will fill in for Vidya. Rumours are out that she had shown interest in the character and is willing to play the role.
