Actor Rajeev Khandelwal is in the capital these days along with the team of his upcoming TV show ‘Reporters.’ The actor who makes a television comeback years after his controversial stint of Sach Ka Saamna, is pretty excited for this one. According to a report in a leading daily, Rajeev was quoted as saying that TV is much bigger a medium than Bollywood.

Discarding the key difference between the two mediums, the actor said it was only about the perception that people make. “It is just the perception especially when the media talks about bada pardah(big screen) and chota pardah(small screen), but the fact is television is way bigger than Bollywood. Ask those who entertain people round the clock. It is not easy. Boredom can set in but then you keep reinventing yourself,” he said.

Rajeev who plays a senior journalist named Kabir Sharma in the show, was asked if it was tough for him to adapt to a role of a journalist. The actor replied by saying he already had acquired the skills of being one. “Even before the show, I would observe anchors. During Sacch Ka Saamna, I had to put on a ear piece and I know all news anchors have to do the same, where they are wired to the PCRs and control rooms. I know how they collect their thoughts, how information is fed, and how till the last second you have to convey that information,” he said.
