This Is What Varun Dhawan Has To Say About Govinda’s Controversial Statement Against Him

It was only recently that 90s superstar Govinda made some of the socking statements about David Dhawan, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar. When he was asked his take on the similarities between him and David’s son Varun, he said that there is no similarity between them as the latter is not poor, uneducated or innocent like him. Lately at an event when Varun was promoting his upcoming film Badrinath ki Dulhania, he was asked to comment on Govinda’s statements.

The humble actor said, “Alochna honi chahiye…Alochan se mein bahut kuch seekhta hoon. Woh kehte hai mujhme aur unmei koi samantaye nahi hai. Yeh sahi hai. Kisi mein samantayein ho bhi nahi sakti. Woh varisht hai, mein unka samman karta hoon. Mein unki barabari kabhi nahi kar sakta”.

Not only this, Varun has earlier too expressed his respect and fondness for the superstar by saying, “Govinda sir has spoilt my dad. As an actor, he has set such high standards that it is extremely difficult to reach up to that level. After having worked with him in numerous blockbusters, my dad kept expecting the same perfection and madness that Govinda ji used to bring to his performances and dance moves. He is a living legend of our industry and nobody can be like him”.

On a related note, Govinda is all set to make a comeback with his upcoming film Aa Gaya Hero which is slated for a release on March 3.
