This Is Why Akshay Kumar Is Upset With Vipul Shah

There’s no denying that Akshay Kumar is one of the most loved and highest paid actors in the industry. One of his flicks, Namastey London, is still fresh in the memories of movie buffs. The flick is now going to have a sequel and actor Arjun Kapoor has been approached for it.

There were rumours that Akshay was upset with Kapoor for accepting the role. However, it turns out to be untrue. Gossip mills are churning out rumours that it is producer-director Vipul Shah with whom the star is upset because he feels that the director has used his name.

As per a source, “Vipul and Akshay have been close for a long time, and are quite fond of each other on a personal level. But then Akshay is a thorough professional today, and has multiple films on the floors and in planning. He does not want to be taken for a ride or his name used just for the sake of it. That’s why he’s not even given an okay to act in Namastey London’s sequel, Namastey England. And there is also talk of a film called Namastey Canada, which might star Arjun”.

The source further added that Arjun made a call to Akshay about being approached for to do the sequel and sought his permission to work in the film. Akshay was cool with it and told him that he was free to do the film.
