Time to act on friendship as P.K trailer to release with Kick while Happy New Year with Singham Returns

Bollywood is an industry where having friends is considered an asset to be valued. More important is how the friendship is brought for a good use. Something of the same sorts transpired lately. The recent Shahrukh-Ajay patch up and the long Salman-Aamir bonhomie will have its effect on screen. Reportedly the trailer of Aamir Khan’s Peekay will be released with Salman Khan’s Kick while the trailer of Shahrukh’s Happy New Year will come out with Ajay Devgn’s Singham Returns.

Salman and Aamir who share a very good personal bond have also helped promote their films in the past. While Salman promoted Dhoom 3 on BigBoss, Aamir helped promote Jai Ho on Twitter. The Raju Hirani directed Peekay will release around Christmas while Happy New Year is to release on Diwali. Incidentally both Kick and Peekay is distributed by Disney, hence the deal seems almost certain. The trailers of both these biggies are already keenly awaited and there is a great buzz among the youth to catch the first look of the films. Shahrukh who is known to have a very sharp business sense cashed in on the recently formed friendship with Ajay by deciding to release his trailer with Singham Returns on August 15th. He knows the time is best suited for them to come up with the movie’s trailer. Well all we can say at this moment is that it is best if the Bollywood friendships work for the good of the audience even if it’s just about finding a perfect slot to release the trailer.
