Title Talk: From ‘Gabbar’ to ‘Main Gabbar’ to ‘Gabbar is Back’, Akshay Kumar finally settles on one

The makers of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film under SLB Films, have found all sorts of reasons to see a delay. While the film has been in making for almost forever, the title of the project has kept them guessing as well. 

Originally titled Gabbar, film’s title was recently changed to Main Gabbar. From what we learn now, the title has again been changed to ‘Gabbar is Back’. While the reasons to repeatedly change the name are best known to the makers, what we’d hope is they don’t suffer a delay again. The story is about a man who goes vigilante to fight law and injustice. While Shruti Haasan plays the female lead, it is reported that Kareena too will come in for a guest appearance. Directed by Krish, the film is a remake of Tamil hit Ramanaa. ‘Gabbar is back’ will mark another association of Sanjay Leela Bhansali with Akshay Kumar after the super hit Rowdy Rathore.
