Troubles galore for Joker director Shirish Kunder

It seems filmmaker Shirish Kunder is going through a very bad phase of his career. While on the one hand his next filmJokeris all set to release in the next two days, on the other hand even the leading lady of the film, Sonakshi Sinha, has refused to promote the film after main hero Akshay Kumar. As if this was not enough, his future project with Salman Khan,Kick, has also landed in a problem. According to the latest buzz, Salman is not happy with the script thus producer Sajid Nadiadwala has sent Shirish back to the drawing board. Responding to the report, Sajid said, "Firstly, I want to make it clear thatKickis indeed happening. Salman is the lead actor and Shirish the director. A few dialogues are being changed and a little shuffling here and there. Whether the leading lady will be a newcomer or a popular face depends on Salman's dates. As soon as he finalises his schedule with us, we will lock the actress next week". Meanwhile, due to her closeness withRowdy Rathoreco-star Akshay, Sonakshi has also decided to stay away fromJoker’s promotions putting a huge question mark on the fate of the film. However, producer Farah denied such rumours, saying, "Akshay and Sonakshi have been overexposed during the promotions ofRowdy. She wanted to focus on the aliens this time around". There is also a buzz that the film will be screened for Wing Commander (Retd) Rakesh Sharma, India’s only cosmonaut who flew on board a Soviet Soyuz T-11 as part of a joint Indo-Soviet space programme in 1984."The film is a science fiction family entertainer that we feel will be loved by kids. There are aliens from outer space. Cosmonaut Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian to travel in outer space and it makes complete sense to try and contact him. We are in process of doing that," Shirish said in a statement.
