‘Tumhari Sulu’ Will Now Release On November 17

Every filmmaker wants to earn the maximum profit from their movies. To ensure that their movies do good business at the box, they don’t want their movie to clash with another. In the past, we saw Apoorva Lakhia postponing his movie ‘Haseena Parkar’ several times so that it does not clash with any film.

Now the latest filmmaker who has done a la Apoorva is director Suresh Triveni, who is coming up with the upcoming movie ‘Tumhari Sulu’. The film which is produced by T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment stars Vidya Balan in the lead role. The film which was scheduled to hit theatres on November 24 has been preponed by a week to November 17.

Well, this is not the first time that the film’s release date has been changed. ‘Tumhari Sulu’ was first scheduled to release on December 1 on which Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ is also releasing. In order to ensure that Padmavati does not hamper ‘Tumhari Sulu’s’ business, the makers changed the release date to November 24.

‘Tumhari Sulu’ will have Vidya playing a carefree housewife who later takes up the job of radio jockey conducting shows at night.
