Two leading ladies for ‘Fan’, Shahrukh confirms

There have been too much speculations made over the female star cast of Shahrukh’s next ‘Fan’. While Ileana D’Cruz was almost considered final for the film, the actress in an event a few weeks back told she was clueless. Meanwhile, Shahrukh himself has clarified that there are going to be heroines in the movie and not one. The film is a Yashraj product being directed by Maneesh Sharma.

Shahrukh told that the film doesn’t require any kind of big star and the ladies will soon be finalised. “I have Fan with YRF and Maneesh. There are two girls in the film. It is a film where I don’t think you need a big lady star. It is a different film. It is one of the challenging films that I have done in 20 years. We are still discussing as to how we can take it ahead. It is a story of a fan of a movie star,” he said. The kind of a film Fan is, no one can be completely sure if SRK will be seen romancing the two ladies or will it have a different angle.

Talking about the delay with Rahul Dholakia for his next ‘Raees’, King Khan said “Raees, is a space I have never tried, it is a different film. Rahul Dholakia narrated the film to me and I liked it very much. Then I have Rohit Shetty’s film and another which I have not signed yet.” The actor is right now occupied with the promotions of his next Happy New Year which is directed by Farah Khan. The film will release on Diwali.
