Variety today: Shahid Kapoor's Phata Poster Nikhla Hero and Irffan Khan’s The Lunchbox

Bollywood will serve audience of varied taste today as films of different genres are releasing. Industries’ handsome hunk Shahid Kapoor is returning on screen with Phata Poster Nikhla Hero after a long time and wishes that this movie would prove a break for him. While on the other hand, Karan Johar is presenting a heart touching flick The Lunchbox for its viewers, who has already won Critics award at Cannes Film Festival 2013.

Phata Poster Nikhla Hero is a comedy-centralized film with Ileana D'cruz pairing up with Shahid in the lead role. Director Rajkumar Santoshi has delivered another best through this venture. The filmmaker commented on the actor’s comedy expertise, "Shahid has a natural flair for comedy and you would see that. People haven't seen him in an action comedy. He has been outstanding in the film.” The songs of this film are heard on the lips of every individual.

On the contrary, The Lunchbox written and directed by Ritesh Batra, is a romantic story that arises between Irrfan and newcomer Nimrat Kaur. Relationship between Irrfan, a lonely widower and Nimrat, an unhappy housewife starts when by a dabbawala (lunchbox provider) delivers wrong lunch box. Both of them, then commence exchanging notes. The Lunchbox will be a different experience for the audience as the flick is one of its kinds as that’s the buzz going around on the same.
