Varun Dhawan And Alia Bhatt To Star in Karan Johar’s Shhuddhi

It’s been a decade since Karan Johar announced of making Shuddhi. Names of several B-town actors were doing the rounds as who will star in the movie. Earlier, it was reported that Hrithik Roshan would be doing the film and then later it was announced that Salman Khan has been roped in.

However, the movie was put on hold. It was also reported that Karan has shelved the movie. However, Karan has finally announced that he would be making the movie with a new star cast.

Guess who has been signed in? Well, it is most people’s favourite jodi Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. We know your happiness levels after hearing the news. So are we.

When inquired from Dharma Production about the status of the film, Apoorva Mehta who is a CEO of the production house said, “Shhuddhi is definitely something that we are looking to make, but we want to do it at the right time. No, it has not been shelved and it will be made pretty soon.”

Director Karan Malhotra will rework on the script of the movie keeping in mind the new star cast.
