Varun Dhawan pays homage to his dance idols in ABCD 2

The Badlapur star, Varun Dhawan, will be seen paying homage to his dance idols of the Bollywood industry in his upcoming dance film, ABCD 2. Varun Dhawan came up with this idea, which convinced the director, Remo D’Souza. Remo said, “It’s a nice homage scene in the film”.

A source close to the development of the flick revealed, “There is a sequence in ABCD 2 where Varun is trying to impress his dance teacher, Prabhu Deva. The scene was written as straightforward impress-the-teacher routine. But Varun decided to make it lively and exciting. He decided to dance like his favourite actors”.

“Varun has been shooting with SRK for Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale and is deeply impressed by King Khan. Varun suggested he dance like SRK to impress his guru Prabhudheva. Then the young actor decided to extend the scene to incorporate the dance styles of his other dancing idols Hrithik Roshan and Varun’s dad’s one-time favourite actor Govinda. Finally, Varun breaks in a Prabhudheva jig right in front of him”, explained another source close to the project.
