Varun Dhawan To Sport A Hunky Body In ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’

After wrapping up his upcoming film ‘Dishoom’, Varun Dhawan started preparing himself for his next. The actor has collaborated with director Shashank Khaitan for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ featuring Alia Bhatt as the female lead. The film will not be a sequel of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, but will take the franchise forward.

According to reports, the Badlapur actor has worked excessively to build up a muscular body for the role. Varun’s trainer Prashant Sawant revealed that he started working out after wrapping up his last film. He said, “He had been working out with the look in mind after wrapping up Rohit Dhawan's 'Dishoom'. We needed to increase muscle mass so besides weight training I added more carbs in his diet, like brown rice and sweet potatoes".

Reportedly, the Dilwale actor will be seen playing a desi guy in the flick and will portray a rustic look. Also, the team of the film has already shot some portions with the leading pair, including a romantic number. The actress is currently busy shooting for Gauri Shinde's next and will resume shooting for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ by the end of this month.
