Vicky Kaushal Shares Throwback Pic With Hrithik Roshan

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, who began shooting for his next opposite Alia Bhatt - Raazi in Mumbai, shared a cute throwback picture from his childhood Saturday morning and it only proves how big a fan he is of Hrithik Roshan.

Vicky shared the photo on Instagram and wrote, “Found this while cleaning up my drawers today. My first time on a film set (Fiza) and the reason was to see this phenomena in flesh and blood. KNPH had just come out and I was a crazy fan like many others. Someone told me that he only meets kids who can dance on ‘Ek pal ka jeena’ (obviously I was getting fooled), but I believed that and rehearsed and practiced dancing on the song for 3 days before meeting him. When I finally met, he was the sweetest person ever. Probably the only time I have stared at another human being for hours at stretch... coz may be for me he was not just a purush, he was a mahapurush. Inspiration... then, now and forever. Hrithik Roshan! #throwback along with biraadar @sunsunnykhez”

Hrithik replied on Vicky’s post saying, “Thanks Vicky for bringing back some heartwarming memories! You have grown into such an outstanding actor. All the best for your future and looking forward to seeing you in more great projects!”

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Raazi will feature Vicky as an army officer. The Masaan fame actor joined Alia after wrapping up his work on Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic, on Friday, a statement said.

Based on the book Calling Sehmat, Raazi is a real life adaptation of a Kashmiri girl, who is married to an army officer and is set during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

Alia and Vicky have been doing their prep for the role and also done a few workshops together to get the right dialect and character. “I’m extremely excited for this journey. It’s a great team coming together on an amazing story. Fingers crossed,” Vicky said.

Produced by Dharma Productions and Junglee Pictures, “Raazi” will also be shot in Punjab, and Kashmir.
