Vidya Balan to portray Suchitra Sen’s life on screen

There’s something about Vidya Balan and her connection with ‘Bongs’. After having sparked her career off with a beautiful looking Bengali in Parineeta and following it up with a stirring disguised pregnant one in Kahaani, she is back again. The actress will apparently play the lead in a biopic shaping up on actress Suchitra Sen.

According to reports, makers have approached the national winning actress to render the life of Suchitra Sen on screen for which she has given her nod too. Vidya is currently shooting for Mohit Suri’s Hamari Adhoori Kahaani along with Emraan Hashmi and will then begin working on the project. Given the kind of intensity the project has, Vidya is making sure she puts the right foot on the pedal. Sources reveal that she would be learning the classical Kathak dance and will study Sen’s details very closely. The projected is expected to go on the floors later this year.
