Vikas Bahl’s short film on women's safety gaining popularity

Vikas Bahl who rose to fame with Queen has now made a spine-chilling short film titled Going Home starring Alia Bhatt. The filmmaker has collaborated with a leading fashion magazine to direct a 5-minute video based on women's safety.

The video-clip revolves around a young lady whose car breaks down, and she’s stuck on a deserted road with no way out, when suddenly she’s approached by a gang of five men in an SUV, who stop and eventually help her. The video ends with a statement: "Can we give her the world she believes exists?" 

 "I pledge to create a short film titled 'Going Home', in which we visualise a utopia for women, where, unlike today, mistrust and fear don’t dictate actions and decisions,” says director Vikas Bahl.
