Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Bhavesh Joshi’with Sidharth Malhotra goes into cold box

Vikramaditya Motwane seems to have given up on his ambitious common man project ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ and it appears that the project has permanently gone into the cold box. According to different reasons cited by Lootera filmmaker, the film appears to be shelved.

First, the lead actor Imran Khan was replaced by Sidharth Malhotra that put a little unrest. But more importantly, the film lost its relevance and the issues it spoke of don’t hold any more importance. The film was apparently based on a common man’s life who turns an avenger against the system to feed the common people. Acknowledging that the issues of corruption and system failure are not happening with the new government, Motwane agrees the film is out of the mood. But he’s still on hoping to revive the project.
