Vivek Oberoi, a young Narendra Modi in Mitesh Patel’s next?

After declaring the making of a movie on the life of wannabe Prime Minister and present Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, the U.S. based filmmaker Mitesh Patel is now once again in news. It is heard that the director is considering Krrish 3’s villain Vivek Oberoi to portray young Narendra Modi. The actor was recently approached for the same and confirming the news, Mitesh remarked, “While tossing ideas about who can play the young Narendra Modi, we all thought Vivek Oberoi was a good choice. He is keen to experiment with his roles and this will give an ideal opportunity for him.”

He added in his comments, “My production team members have been talking to him and we have another meeting coming up soon. He has asked for a detailed character sketch.” Paresh Rawal is already finalised to play the older version of Modi as his physical appearance is similar to the dignitary. He is also heard to be associated as a producer but nothing is announced as of now. Mitesh is quite impressed with Vivek’s performances in previous flicks and says that he is a man who experiments with his roles. More updates about the same are yet to be disclosed.
