While most little girls grow up dreaming of their perfect wedding day, Alia Bhatt seems to have a bigger vision. Recently, in an interview with a popular tabloid, the actress was quizzed about her marriage plans. Spilling the beans about her aspiration, the 23-year-old star stated that an Academy Award was as important and dreamy for her as marriage was for most girls.

"I only think about that one day when I am standing in front of people, receiving an Oscar. What marriage is for most girls, an Oscar is for me”, stated Alia. The 2 States actress will be seen playing a Bihari migrant in her upcoming and long-awaited flick, Udta Punjab.

Revealing how she managed to pull through the role, the Bollywood's sweetheart stated, "I draw from my natural emotions. For a role like Student of the Year, I'd behave like I would if I was in love in real life. But here, I had no emotions to tap into”.

“It took lots of discussions with Abhishek (Chaubey, director). He gave me the perspective I didn't have. Then, I made it my own. I could never react naturally, the way Pinky (her character) does”, added Alia.

Well, looking at her hard work, especially visible in Highway, it can be assumed that the acclaimed actress might fulfil her dream down the line. Desimartini wishes that Alia’s dream may come true soon.
