Here's Why Kangana Ranaut Rejected Ishaan Khattar Starrer ‘Beyond The Clouds’!

Kangana Ranaut is admired by her fans for her straightforwardness and open heart conversations. There were reports surfacing some time back that she might star opposite newcomer Ishaan Khatter in Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond The Clouds’. But, Kangana rejected the offer.

Moreover, Kangana has also stated a reason for rejecting the movie. She told TOI, “It’s a brother-sister story where the brother is the one doing all the fighting. Since I’m jumping straight into Ketan Mehta’s Jhansi ki Rani, who was an iconic heroine, why would I take on such a submissive role?”

She will be next seen in ‘Rangoon’ opposite Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. Fantastic director Vishal Bhardwaj has helmed the flick which is set during World War II. Again, Kangana is going to be seen in an all together different look. She will be portraying the role of Mary Ann Evans aka Fearless Nadia, Bollywood’s first original stunt-woman, in this upcoming period film.

Kangana will soon start shooting for Ketan Mehta’s biopic on Rani Laxmibai. For her role in this biopic, Ranaut will be taking horse riding lessons in Germany.
