Why's Swara grateful to Salman's sister

Looks like, the budding friendship between Salman Khan’s sister Alvira and actor Swara Bhaskar is here to stay. Earlier we reported that Alvira was the one who recommended the Raanjhanaa actor for the Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) and now Alvira is even styling Swara for the film, and the actor is all kicked about it.

"Alvira will be designing the costumes for Swara’s character in the film. Atul Agnihotri and Alvira have always said that they have enjoyed watching Swara’s performance in Raanjhanaa, so when Alvira felt that her styling would add beauty to Swara’s look in the film, she offered and Swara gladly accepted,” says a source from the film's unit.

Talking about it, Swara says, “I am most grateful to them (Alvira and Atul) for not only recommending me for the film but also taking interest in how I appear in it. It makes you feel like you are cared for.” On being quizzed about the look Alvira is planning for her, Swara says, “I play a strong character in the film, a working girl with an independent mind. The clothes and look had to reflect these traits and I really think Alvira and (designer) Ashley Rebello have done a fantastic job with my look. The clothes are elegant yet simple. They are Indian wear and very ethnic, something that relates to the character and me.”

Earlier, Swara has charmed the audience with her performances in hits including Tanu Weds Manu and Raanjhanaa. Her current film is being directed by Sooraj Barjatya. The film also stars Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Armaan Kohli.
