Winning national award like dream come true for Vidya Balan

Mumbai -- National award winning actress Vidya Balan said she always wanted to win the most coveted film award at least once in her career and achieving this years best actress prize is like a dream come true for her. Vidya, whose recently released film, Kahaani, is getting a very good response from both critics and audiences. She was announced the winner of the best actress award on Wednesday for her bold performance as southern siren Silk Smitha in The Dirty Picture. "I am very happy and speechless, don't know what to say. I had always thought of getting at least one National award in my career. I am just seven years old in this (film) industry and I have got one," Vidya told reporters here. She added, "I feel I have got much more than I had expected... I am content".
