Indian actress and Miss World of 1999, Yukta Mookhey, has lodged a complaint against her husband Prince Tulli of dowry harassment and unnatural sex. Yukta, married her husband in November 2008, has accused Tulli of mental and physical harassments for years. She had previously filed a non-cognizable complaint (NC) against her husband in July 2012 of sexual abuse, in which police advised her to move to the court.
An officer from Amboli police station, where she filed an FIR, shared on the same, "She has complained of being beaten up, forced to have unnatural sex and dowry harassment. She had earlier filed a case of harassment, but since this time her complaint includes unnatural sex and dowry harassment, we have registered her case." Meanwhile, her spouse has been booked under section 498(dowry harassment) and under section 377(unnatural sex) of IPC.
Prabhakar Medhe, Amboli police station’s senior police officer stated, "We have recorded Mookhey's statement and are in the process of arresting Tulli and his family." According to a source, the gaps in their relationship took an ugly turn n 2012 and hence she lodged a complaint. Reason coming forward for the split is that her family didn’t want her to continue her acting career.
